Mission
To bring unbiased information on dental hygiene products to busy hygienists to better their lives and their patients’ lives and experiences.
My Story
I have been in dentistry since I was 17 years old. I have evolved from a dental assistant, clinical dental hygienist, dental hygiene educator, speaker, and product reviewer. My passion is the oral systemic health link, expanding the scope of dental hygiene practice to increase quality of care to the public, and using the newest technologies to improve patient care and oral health. I am currently completing a Master’s of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Minnesota and my thesis focuses on diabetes and interprofessional education. I enjoy volunteering at local and regional dental clinics and am active with the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and recently was voted Volunteer of the Year. I am also a member of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene and American Academy of Oral Systemic Health.
